Annual Meeting & SBC Updates

I hope many of you are able to attend the annual meeting on Saturday, Oct. 3rd. If you have not been there recently, you will find our resort looks good. The newly painted pool decks, the newly resurfaced sports deck and the comfortable lounge chairs at the pool. The workout room is now a resort gem. The new ramp at the beach is a wonderful addition to our resort. New lights have been installed in the parking lot that make the palm trees glow. There were also new lights installed on the top of the Phase I building to light up the swash. Phase I owners have mixed feelings about the new look and the cost. Take a look and see what you think.





New Pet Policy

A new pet policy was passed by the BOD. The pet owners I have talked to are very upset. Below is the new policy:

Amended Friday, May 8, 2009

By the Sands Beach Club Board of Directors

The most recent Pet Policy states that ONLY WHOLE OWNERS are allowed to keep pets in any unit at Sands Beach Club. Owners are to clean up after their pets at all times and are required to properly dispose of any waste.

This most recent policy has been amended as follows:

1) Only whole owners in residence at the time may keep pets in any unit at Sands Beach Club. Timeshare owners are not permitted to keep animals in any unit on site.

2) Pets are limited to 2 per unit.

3) Pets may not exceed a weight limit of 30 pounds each.

4) No guest is permitted to keep a pet in any unit at Sands Beach Club.

Current homeowners who may be in violation of the pet policy at present, may apply to have specific pets allowed for the lifetime of the pet in residence.

Please fill out the attached pet registration form so that your pet (s) may be issued a pet tag for Sands Beach Club.
